Control Microsystems Poised to Challenge Competition with Launch of SCADA Software Solution

Company Now Offers Highly Integrated SCADA Software and Hardware

Ottawa, ONControl Microsystems launched new SCADA management software in North America today, designed to address the water and wastewater industries’ toughest challenges when deploying secure SCADA systems including expedited deployment, ease of use, data integrity and auditing.

ClearSCADA is a premium automation software platform for gathering, processing and relaying information in real-time while providing powerful process visualization, data acquisition and supervisory control.

"ClearSCADA offers the water and wastewater industries an easily deployed and affordable solution to modern challenges,” said Dale Symington, Senior Vice President of Engineering for Control Microsystems. “ClearSCADA allows plant operators to deploy adaptive SCADA systems that take care of security, redundancy and reporting better than any other out there”.

Backed by a dedicated technical support team, ClearSCADA also features built-in system redundancy, scalability, and increased security control. The new SCADA platform integrates seamlessly with Control Microsystems’ controllers and is based on open interface and protocol standards for use with third-party hardware.

The software has already been installed in three wastewater treatment plants in Sydney, Australia, where it has helped plant operators effectively manage data coming in from all three sites.

“Our recent installation in three main treatment plants in Liverpool, Fairfield, and Glenfield has exceeded our expectations, and has proven that large amounts of process data can be extracted using standard tools,” said Mike Wassell, Senior SCADA Engineer at Sydney Water. “This product has made our jobs easier.”
