NRWA does
not regularly publish press releases from
companies. You are welcomed to submit them, but
please realize that their acceptance is not a
general practice.
-
Only
Microsoft Word documents are acceptable. If you
have a graph or chart, please submit that in
Microsoft Excel. Other formats may not be
accessible by our editorial staff.
-
Submissions
are accepted on a case-by-case basis – depending
on editorial space available in each issue. NRWA
develops their editorial schedule at least two
months prior to publication, and will
occasionally have additional space in the
magazine. Please note that even though our
editorial staff expresses interest in your
article, available space may change once the
publication goes to print. Please submit your
articles at least 3 months prior to the
publication you would like to see your article
printed in.
-
Articles
accepted into Rural Water Magazine are generally
600-1,000 words. Articles of larger or smaller
sizes will be considered depending on available
editorial space.
-
NRWA
will not accept articles that are solely
‘marketing or public relations’ based. We accept
articles that will be of interest to our general
readership – those that teach, inform, or review
new
regulations receive top priority.
-
Photos can
be submitted with your articles. Only jpeg, tiff
or giff images are accepted.
-
Although the
magazine is sent out quarterly, the editorial
schedule is subject to change due to NRWA events
that may be included in a particular issue.
-
Please
include a contact name, address, email and phone
number along with your submitted article.
-
Our
editorial staff will contact you prior to the
article being printed and confirmation will be
made when the publication goes to print.
-
If your
article is accepted, NRWA will gladly send you 3
complimentary copies of the Rural Water Magazine
for your records.
-
Articles
submitted may be edited prior to publication.
You will be notified of any changes made prior
to print for your approval.
