Bay of St. Louis - Unsung Hero! “Is Buddy all right?” Mama
yelled into the phone. “Yeah,” my friend
who had seen me on the Bay’s city streets answered. “He’s running
around trying to get the water.” So, the first reports were made on Buddy Zimmerman, Public Works
Department for the Bay of St. Louis, Mississippi. Buddy’s city
was in the direct path of Hurricane Katrina, which barreled through
the Gulf Coast on Monday, August 29, 2005.
