  • Mississippi's Bay of St. Louis - Unsung Hero! “Is Buddy all right?”  Mama yelled into the phone.   “Yeah,” my friend who had seen me on the Bay’s city streets answered.  “He’s running around trying to get the water.”   So, the first reports were made on Buddy Zimmerman, Public Works Department for the Bay of St. Louis, Mississippi.  Buddy’s city was in the direct path of Hurricane Katrina, which barreled through the Gulf Coast on Monday, August 29, 2005.

National growth continues to explode in the western part of the United States.  Rural water systems tend to jump ahead of the pack when faced with environmental issues.  This is exactly the case with the Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District located near Clear Lake, California.

  • The Foundation of NRWA: A Moment In History Duncan, OK-- On Tuesday, the original incorporators of NRWA visited the National Headquarters and met with the NRWA staff to provide a bit of history on the beginning of the organization in 1976 and the events leading up to the formation of the national organization.
