The potential to change EVERYTHING!

Each tiny raindrop that falls from the sky combines with another, and then another, to eventually form the lakes, rivers and streams we all enjoy and depend upon.

The Rural Water Partnership Fund was founded on this same principle. Already, a compilation of concept or "white" papers has been published as a result of this fund. Focusing on key issues affecting rural and small water & wastewater systems, white papers provide an important source for regulatory and industry personnel in developing national policy.

Just think, an individual contribution combined with a water system contribution, combined with another, and then another will pool together flowing into a river of information and data. This vast resource will have the potential to change how regulations are created for rural and small water & wastewater systems.

How will my contribution be utilized?

Your contribution helps gather data and develop critical industry studies. This is vital to rural and small utilities often plagued with regulations formed with very little data. Even the Safe Drinking Water Act is based on "what is affordable for large metropolitan systems".

Will I receive the information developed through my contribution?

Yes, as a contributor, you'll have access to progress reports and studies through the National Rural Water Association's website and/or your state rural water associations.

How will the funds be administered?

Audited annually, Rural Water Partnership Funds are administered through the NRWA under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer.
