NRWA moves 2010 conference to New Orleans

DUNCAN, Okla. – The National Rural Water Association announced today it has relocated its 2010 WaterPro Conference to New Orleans, La., due to heavy flooding in Nashville, Tenn. The conference will be held Sept. 27-29, 2010.
The change only affects the conference location. All dates and schedules will remain intact, including sessions, events and exhibit hall times. The decision to relocate the conference was made so that NRWA could provide the highest-quality experience to attendees, with the least amount of disruption.
WaterPro is the annual conference of the National Rural Water Association. The conference is designed to bring together water and wastewater utility systems - large and small, municipal and rural - for sessions in operations, management, boardsmanship and governance.
According to current travel guides, New Orleans is one of the top ten most visited cities in the United States. New Orleans has many major attractions, from the world-renowned French Quarter and Bourbon Street's notorious nightlife, to St. Charles Avenue, to Magazine Street, with its many boutique stores and antique shops.
More information about the 2010 WaterPro conference is available at www.waterproconference.org
