May 3, 2010 Flooding not expected to affect 2010 conference
DUNCAN, Okla. – Recent flooding in Nashville Tenn., is not expected
to affect the NRWA's 2010 WaterPro Conference,
to be held Sept. 27-29 in that city. The flooding and subsequent state of emergency will have immediate impacts on hotel and conventions in the area. The Gaylord Opryland Hotel is not accepting overnight reservations for a few weeks. It is possible the situation will require changes to the 2010 conference, but the current opinion is that the hotel will have enough time to return to normal operations before the conference.
