![]() Chandler was honor with the award for his commitment, leadership and dedication to rural Kentucky. Congressman Chandler has been instrumental in helping to direct federal funds to numerous environmental projects, improving the public health and quality of life of rural Kentuckians. Congressman Chandler was also a guest speaker at the conference. Representing Kentucky’s Sixth District in the United States House of Representatives, he addressed over 700 water and wastewater professionals on August 26. Rural water professional from across the state gathered to hear presentations from industry experts, network with peers, and tour Kentucky’s largest exhibition of products and services available to public water and wastewater utilities. The Kentucky Rural Water Association is a state-wide, non-profit association that provides training, on-site technical assistance, advocacy, and other services to all utilities, including over 375 member public drinking water and wastewater utilities, in Kentucky. With offices in Bowling Green and Frankfort, KRWA has been fulfilling its mission of helping water and wastewater utilities help themselves since 1979. ![]() | ||
